Background
Simpson:
This was written for the wedding of Dave Casserly and Sonia Wurzel. They chose the title, explaining that “dandelion is a reference to where we met (the Dandelion Romp) and ‘in the green’ is a reference to a song from a novel we like.”
Teaching Notes
B1. The left hand turn is a half or whole turn depending on which file a dancer is in.
Simpson:
The dolphin hey in B2 is a fairly leisurely figure.
The transition into the hey requires a bit of anticipation for the dancer in [L2] position. They may wish to cast into the hey (filling time and setting up their right shoulder pass).
